MahjorMonday Mantra: Being broke is apart of the game, staying broke is some personal s**t

We all want the same things, what differentiates our wants is what we find to be important and what we need. Everyone wants some form of financial security, it doesn't matter if that security means they want to be rich, everyone coexisting in this world is looking for some form of material abundance.

We all have our individual reasons that motivate this want, for some its family, for others it's simply for themselves.

Everything begins with a decision.

You and only you have the power to decide whether your glass will be half empty or half full. I at one point hated the idea of money and creating the constant habit of talking about money and the hustle and bustle of making money. I'm now consciously aware that money is a band-aid.

Money is a band-aid for an imperfect system. Money is one system we've created for dealing with the problems of scarcity. The more of it you have, the more abundance you have. You can buy things, do things, and persuade people in ways others can't. In this sense, money gives you more choices, and as an extension, more freedom.

Having money means you can rectify problems, rather than being haunted by them. Having money means possessing the power to make the world a little more perfect, rather than having to endure its imperfections.

We can complain about all the things we are lacking in our lives or choose to accept what we are lacking and choose to change it. The love of money is the root of all evil. The lack of money is the root of all evil.

In the pursuit of all we want and need in life we will all experience moments of being broke, being broke emotionally, mentally, spiritually and financially. Being broke happens. In order to grow and heal you had to have been broken.

Same goes for being broke financially, I've learned a lot about being broke. Being broke can be exhausting and demoralizing. I use my experiences of being broke to motivate me to continue my quest for financial independence and security. You can't get rich quick and be wealthy at the same time.

Being broke is part of the game, staying broke is a personal choice. /react-text
