Remembering the lovely Bobbi Kristina, dead at age 22.

It was no secret that the On Our Own star was devastated by the passing of her mother and best friend. The Houston family continued to keep very tight reins and watchful eyes on Krissi, as they feared that she may possibly spiral and suffer a fate similar to that of her late mother, given the history of addiction in her family. On January 31, 2014, the family fears were realized when Bobbi Kristina was found unresponsive in a bathtub, in a state hauntingly similar to that of her mother, just weeks before the third anniversary of her mother’s death.. 

The details of why and how she was found this way are still a bit hazy, though police did confirm that there was no trace of drug or alcohol abuse at the time. Just three years after the death of mother and mega-star, Whitney Houston, the Houston-Brown family is met with yet another tragedy. After remaining in a coma for the better part of 6 months, it was confirmed that singer, actress and reality star, Bobbi Kristina Brown, was “taken home” on Sunday night, July 26, 2015. Bobbi Kristina, lovingly referred to as “Krissi” by friends and family, was surrounded by prayers, music and loved ones as she drew her last breath. She was said to have died due to “irreversible brain damage.”

The tentative funeral date was yesterday, July 30, 2015, many family friends, most notably, Tyler Perry, have stepped in to assist with arrangements and pay his respects to the tempestuous beautiful and loving life of the late Bobbi Kristina Brown. She was 22.
