DAMN Is Doing Some Serious Numbers Were Serious..

Kendrick Lamar's new album DAMN. was expected to only sell around 470,000 units, but according to Billboard, Kung Fu Kenny has amassed 603,000 copies (353,000 units in traditional album sales and 340.6 million streams) surpassing Drake's "More Life" at 504,609 first week, making it the largest album sales in 2017.

The way it works is that the Billboard 200 chart takes in multiple sales. For instance, it includes traditional album sales as well as track equivalent albums known as TEA and also streaming equivalent albums known as SEA.

He previously had the leading spot on the Billboard 200 with his 2016 album "Untitled Unmastered" which sold 178,000 in its first week with 142,000 traditional album sales. He also has a leading spot with his 2015 album "To Pimp a Butterfly" selling 363,000 with 324,000 being traditional album sales.

The album all in itself is pure greatness. Kendrick Lamar in our opinion has done it again with the greatness.
