Azzedine Alaïa Returns To Couture With A Bang

"When the collection is ready, it's ready." A quote from designer Azzedine Alaïa in reference to his Fall 1991 Ready-To-Wear runway show starring Black Queen Model Extraordinaire Naomi Campbell.

20 years after that show in 2011 Azzedine returned with a fall collection, this time couture. And now, after 6 additional years, he is back once more.

Maybe this "When it's ready it's ready" attitude is bigger than just some quote. It may actually epitomize the the designers creative spirit all together.
